The history of our guesthouse dates back to the times of the First Republic, when the whole area served as a textile tearing factory, whose machines were powered by a water wheel. This factory also included the First Republic villa of the factory owner. Owners of the local factory, like the Sudeten Germans, were expelled after the end of World War II. The owners' villa became a gamekeeper's lodge and the factory fell into disrepair. In the 1960s the whole building was purchased by the Fuel Research Institute in Prague and the premises began to be used for family recreation by its employees. In 1995, the whole area was rebuilt into Hubert Guesthouse and since then has offered its services and hospitality to its guests.
